DRIVERS
- Do not park on the grass
- Do not exceed 10 mph on church property
BICYCLISTS
- Regardless of age, you must wear a helmet when cycling on church
property.
SWIMMERS
- Do not wander around the campground; stay in the pool area.
- Once inside the fence, do not run.
- Do not enter the water if the lifeguard is not present. The
lifeguard is required to evict (for the balance of the day) anyone found
in the water when he/she returns from the hourly break.
ADULTS
- Children may be left only if they are over 12 years old. For
children 12 and younger, an adult (over 18) must be present.
- Children 13-17 who are left at the pool must have a contact number
in case of emergencies.
MISCELLANEOUS
- Radios, cassette player and compact disc players must be kept
at a low volume.
- The Smyrna Presbyterian Church is not responsible for lost,
forgotten, or stolen property. Each Saturday evening, items left at the
pool will be gathered and given to the Salvation Army.
FORBIDDEN
- Sexual contact
- Fighting, rough-housing (flipping with towels, throwing someone into
the pool, dunking.) ·
- Language that is abusive or derogatory or profane.
- Alcohol, tobacco, "controlled substances", fireworks and firearms.
- Lewd swimwear (see-through, thongs, etc.).
- The lifeguard is authorized by the Smyrna Presbyterian Church to
evict from the pool anyone whose behavior, attire, language or attitude
fall short of Christian standards. A second eviction will result in
revocation of pool membership.
- If you are paying by the day you must sign-in and pay the lifeguard.
Non-church members pay $4 per day and church members who have not joined
the pool pay $2.
